In the latest edition of Sesame Street Magazine, the chefs featured for the next season are Kari Heistad and Stephanie Meyer. Stephanie Meyer first came to Sesame Street as a guest chef on Bill Clinton's First Word with Bill. Since then she has been seen as a contestant on Big Brother, Flavor of Love, and Chopped. Her credits also include working with chef Emeril Lagasse on Chef's Table and The Nanny Diaries.

Kari Heistad is the brains behind the food business at Avenue Deli. She started her culinary career at the age of six in a small Chicago deli. After working there for a few years she went on to work in kitchens of various sizes in New York City. As she gained more experience, she decided to move to Manhattan and open her own deli. It was here that she would learn her true calling and develop her talent for preparing delicious foods with a wide variety of flavors. Her menus have since been featured in numerous restaurants both locally and across the country.

"Sesame Street" was created by Bill Poulos and Joe Lanza. Bill Poulos is the producer of the series, while Joe Lanza is the director. Both create unique television shows that focus on the many wonderful characters who reside in and around the Big Apple.

One of the most popular segments is "Count it Higher." Each week a new "list" of outrageous foods is selected by the Muppets. This list is then sent to a cast of children from all around who help count it higher. The end result is an amazing show that is sure to be a hit with your children.

If you love the Sesame Street series then you will love "Count it Higher." The Big Bird and Peanuts characters are joined by many of your favorite dishes from the series.
